Located in the close proximity of the bustling Cunha Street inside a hidden alleyway, Ginshari is a Japanese takeaway eatery that specializes in traditional hand rolls “Temaki Sushi”, with daily limited supplies.
In Japanese, “shari” refers to sushi rice, and “Ginshari” means offering you a pot of delicious sushi rice! The owner insists on using fresh air-freighted ingredients to produce hand rolls with different flavours, which are extremely popular among young people. Recommended delicacies include crab meat and crab roe hand rolls, grilled A4 wagyu beef hand rolls, spicy minced toro hand rolls, scallop hand rolls with whiskered velvet shrimp, kabayaki eel hand rolls with seared engawa, as well as hand rolls with yuzu oily hamachi and salmon roe.
To enhance customers’ enjoyment and participation in tasting hand rolls, the owner has developed hand roll bento box, which includes air-freighted sashimi, akashari (red sushi rice), grilled seaweed, and other different ingredient options. Customers can choose their favourite combination to create their own hand rolls.
