2017《Din Dong x Taipa Village 》Charity Carnival Creative Art Competition

What will Din Dong do when he is in Taipa Village?

Profile of 《Din Dong》

Din Dong is a silly and cheerful cat, which is full of dreams and positive energy. He likes doing amazing things to bring joy to the community. Din Dong will be the featured character of 《Din Dong @ Taipa Village》 Charity Carnival in Dec, and is going to visit Taipa Village and bring a lot of fun to the community and neighborhood of the destination! So, using your power of imagination and creative potential to express your ideas through colorful drawings and artworks!

 

 

Prize

For each group, there will be a Champion, a 1st runner-up, and a 2nd runner-up.

Primary Group and Secondary Group

Totally 6 winners for Primary Group and Secondary Group.

 

University and Adolescent Group

Totally 3 winners for University and Adolescent group

 

Entry Format

Primary Group : Coloring (6-12 years old

1.Children will be provided with a coloring paper 《Din [email protected] Village》Illustration with Taipa Village scene setting to color and decorate. Children are allowed to add their own unique design and handmade elements.

2. Any coloring technique or method is accepted, children can use color pencils, crayons, pastels, acrylic, oil paints or digital applications- whatever you want!

3.《Din [email protected] Village》Illustration can be obtained from registry or click to downloaded

4.Each artwork should be on white drawing paper 29.7 cm 42 cm (A3 size)

Secondary Group : Creating (12-18 years old)

1.Students in secondary school need to use their unlimited creativity and imagination to create scene to depict what will happen and what will Din Dong do when he is in Taipa Village.

2.Artwork can be in any media forms (hand sketching, acrylic painting, oil painting, printmaking, digital drawings, 3D figure and others) without size limitations.

3.Enrollment form can be obtained from college registry or click to download

 

University and Adolescent Group : Creating (18 years old or above)

1.Entrants school need to use their unlimited creativity and imagination to create scene to depict what will happen and what will Din Dong do when he is in Taipa Village.

2.Artwork can be in any media forms (hand sketching, acrylic painting, oil painting, printmaking, digital drawings, 3D figure and others) without size limitations.

3.Enrollment form can be obtained from registry or click to download

 

Submission

Primary Group

1. You can choose to:
• Submit your artwork to the registry.
• Or submit through post.

 

Secondary Group  /  University and Adolescent Group

2. If artwork and art media is flat and is horizontal surface, you can choose to:
• Submit your artwork to the registry.
• Or submit through post.

3. If artwork is stereoscopic, kindly submit the artwork in person.


4. Address for post and submit in person : Taipa Village Art Space – 10 Rua dos Clerigos, Old Taipa Village

5. All artworks should be submitted on or before 20 Nov 2017.

6. All completed artwork should be submitted with a completed enrollment form

7. Each entrant should not submit more than 1 artwork. Entrant who submits more than 1 artwork will be withdrawn from the competition

 

Judging Criteria

Creativity, concept, color usage, painting/ coloring techniques, originality

Results and Award Ceremony

  1. A winners’ list will be announced on 27 Nov 2017 at taipavillagemacau.com and “Taipa Village Macau” Facebook. A follow- up notification will be posted to winners / school.
  2. A public awards ceremony 《Din Dong @ Taipa Village》 Charity Carnival – Award Ceremony for winners is tentatively scheduled on 16 Dec 2017.
  3. Exact details of the 《Din Dong @ Taipa Village》 Charity Carnival – Award Ceremony to be announced shortly.

 

Competition Terms and Conditions

  • By entering the competition, all entrants agree to be bound by the rules of the competition, and the decisions of the organizers, which are final as to competition-related matters.
  • All artworks grant the organizer reserve the right to use submitted artworks and/ or portions of the artworks for promotional purposes in associated events and media, including but not limited to exhibitions, web distribution, newsletters, conferences and events, and television.
  • Artwork must be submitted with a completed entry form. Organizer reserves the right to reject the entrant who submits an incomplete, improperly completed entry form.
