Nova Gaia – Modern Portuguese Cuisine
Centrally located in Taipa Village near the bustling Cunha Street, Nova Gaia is a newly opened Portuguese restaurant specialising in the art of modern Portuguese cuisine. Led by esteemed chef Benny Liao, who honed his skills at several renowned Michelin-starred establishments in Taiwan, including one Michelin starred “Danny’s Steakhouse” and three Michelin starred “L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon”, the restaurant offers an extensive selection of Portuguese and fusion delicacies. Prior to joining Nova Gaia, Benny worked as a head chef at a modern fusion vegetarian restaurant in Macau – VEGA VEGA, where he crafted a multitude of creative veggie dishes which overwhelmed diners. His excellent culinary skill was highly recognized when he was awarded bronze prize in 2006 Singapore International Culinary Challenge.
