António is an award-winning, Michelin Guide-recommended restaurant serving the finest in authentic Portuguese cuisine. Established in Taipa Village since 2007, the restaurant is a testimony to excellence in sustaining the legacy of Portuguese culinary culture in Macau by introducing an array of authentic Portuguese dishes.

About Chef David
Hailing from Lisbon, Chef David Abreu boasts a culinary background of extensive fine-dining experience, having worked at a number of luxury branded hotels and restaurants in both Portugal and the UK.
With more than a decade of culinary experience under his belt, Chef David’s skills have graced some of Portugal’s finest hotels, including the Grande Real Villa Italia Hotel & Spa, and the SANA and Pestana hotel chains. In addition, he has collaborated with the finest chefs at Four Seasons Hotel Ritz in Lisbon, Portugal and Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire in the UK.
Prior to joining António, Chef David mastered the exacting standards of three Michelin Star-quality cooking and discipline at The Waterside Inn in the UK, under the watchful eye of legendary chef Alain Roux.
Chef David describes his cooking style as “a traditional Portuguese technique with a modern twist”. By making the most of his classic techniques and impeccable attention to detail, he coaxes the very best out of each individual ingredient, elevating the tastes and textures into a delightful symphony of flavours.
David’s great passion, commitment and skill make him a chef we are incredibly proud to have right here at António.

Antonio offers a special lunch set from every Monday to Friday. Changing every week, this three-course set menu consists of meat, fish or seafood, accompanied by a starter and a dessert. The vegetarian dish is also available for selection.
